Sports Trader
To support our sportsbook team, we are looking to hire a smart individual with a can-do attitude to work with our sportsbook products. Our sportsbook solutions are targeted to B2B operators across the globe. We work 24/7 and have large customers in different timezones, making all hours a priority.
You would work together with our sportsbook team based in Sliema and operate day to day Sportsbook tasks in collaboration with the rest of our small but efficient team of sports traders.
The title is Junior because position is of entry-level status in sportsbook. We will provide full training and the company offers great career opportunities. The scope of your role will grow with your knowledge and personal development. Betting Promotion first and foremost look to promote for new positions from within the organization.
Our sportsbook is a dynamic product under constant development and improvement. We offer the opportunity to work directly with this product in a transparent company where everyone is involved and have the ability to impact the end product.
Responsibilities as a Sports Trader
- Monitor and manage odds and content for matches available in Sportsbook
- Risk Management
- Monitor and handle bets of fraudulent nature, monitor customers and analyse their behaviour and take appropriate actions based on profit/loss and other patterns
- Monitor and micro manage events with difficult positions and suspicious activity
- Propose betting fixtures and improvements
- B2B Support – handle requests and inquiries from operators
- Testing of front-end facing product on operators end and report issues
The candidate
- Experience in iGaming
- Sports and betting knowledge
- Analytical, logical and possess basic mathematical skills
- Attentive to detail
- Able to work independently
- Data management expertise
- Strong communication skills
- Team player
- English speaking
Desirable but not essential
- Professional background in betting
